On Monday, July 04th, 2016, ECR Environnement’s Centre-West region inaugurated its new drill at Vigneux de Bretagne in the Department of Loire-Atlantique on the site of Ecofore, designer of the device. Geotechnical teams from the Nantes and Tours agencies were attending.

Geotechnical studies

This CE 403 G drill, named Célia, is a medium-sized caterpillar drill that allows destructive soundings by mechanical or rotary percussion auger with data recording. This device is more powerful than the current one; moreover, it is radio-controlled.

Security devices

This new material has been designed in compliance with the legislation and standards in force (particularly article R4324-1 and Appendix I to article R4312-1 of the Labour Code, NF EN 16228 standard). In particular, it is equipped with a protection cage with reduced mode security management, a light signal column indicating the working phase, emergency stop devices, a bellows protecting the rotating parts.
